About Boy Lights Fire
Boy Lights Fire was born in September 2009 as three music students came together to fuse melodic indie sounds with progressive riffs that would be supported by upbeat dancy rhythms, containing traces of the influence of bands such as Redneck Manifesto, Fighting With Wire, Death Cab for Cutie and more. Lyrics of these songs are often drawn from modern day mythology, conspiracies, and the magic of beautifully deranged souls that have appeared on street corners near us all. 2010 has seen the band hit the Louth and Dublin music scene in full swing , with the additonal excitement over the creation of their Debut E.P. This summer sees the band battle it out in two battles of bands to play this years Electric Picnic Festival.
