About Bloody Diamonds

Bloody Diamonds is a Canadian rock band with dirty, heavy riffs and seductively powerful vocals. Their intense live performances and raw sound are the result of Sara's dark, eerie melodies and Jake's crunchy blues riffs. The two bring together a classic blues rock sound with a modern, gothic twist and enough attitude to keep your eyes and ears hooked. With the gloom of early Black Sabbath, and the modern feel of Band of Skulls, Bloody Diamonds bring a sense of urgency to every stage they play. Since their formation in 2011, the band has been relentlessly touring their hard-hitting rock show throughout Canada, playing hundreds of shows, and releasing a full length LP and 7" single during this time. The band's in-your-face passion for rock n' roll earned them a nomination for Loud Recording of the Year at Nova Scotia Music Week, and showcases at both North by Northeast and Halifax Pop Explosion. Their music has also received placement on television, along with international radio airplay. While the band remains a four-piece rock n’ roll monster, core members Sara and Jake also tour as a two-piece. They will be taking their stoner rock duo set on the road again this spring and summer, on the band’s biggest adventure yet. With Sara trading her organ for guitar, and Jake on both bass drum and guitar, the two layer on the grunge, sludge, and distortion. Left in a whirlwind of loud and dirty rock n’ roll, Sara’s soaring vocals send chills throughout the crowd and make it clear that Bloody Diamonds are in it for the kill.
