About Black Box Down
Black Box Down is an new studio side-project by STAARK's New Zealand-born producer Matt C — currently living and making music in Australia — formed after a challenge to write and record all new songs in only one day (per song). Matt writes, records and produces all his own material. Apart from the “Sketches” compilation, there are no official releases yet. “Black Box Down” (self-titled album) is set to be released in mid-2013. Matt has played small gigs in various Melbourne venues as a solo artist and as guitarist/vocalist in two original bands — Threesixteen and Fevurmire.
