Bigg Face, 25, who's real name is Mike Danielson, crowned by his industry friends as the "Heavyweight of Hip Hop", began writing music in his hometown of Lenora, Kansas at the age of 9. Throughout the years, Bigg Face embraced his love for the art form of "Hip-Hop", developing an ability to compose and produce songs, and by the age of 18, he decided to begin pursuing his career on a much more serious level. After gaining local notoriety for his talent and live performance at the age of 24, Bigg Face decided to move to the city of Atlanta and would soon became Head of Street Promotions for Upfront/Universal Records (Home of Multi-Platinum singer/songwriter/producer Akon and Multi-Platinum/ Grammy-Award winning/ singer/songwriter Kandi from Jermaine Dupri's R&B sensation "Xscape"), where his duties included promoting major singles for Universal/ SRC/ Motown Records such as "Smack That" featuring Akon and Eminem, where he was in charge of servicing and breaking new records with nationally acclaimed DJ's and nightclubs throughout the city of Atlanta. As Bigg Face's reputation began to grow throughout the city of Atlanta for his promotional work with Upfront Records, he decided it was time to go solo, and take the next step towards his dream. After seeking out management, a local Atlanta promoter soon answered their advertisement, and led them to a friend of his, who was responsible for taking two of the biggest acts in the music industry to the top of the charts around the world. The person he was speaking of was none other than the "Legendary Promoter" and "Hit Record Producer" Maurice (The General) Starr, known around the world for Discovering, Producing and Managing Pop Teen Icons, "New Kids On The Block" and R & B Hit Teen Sensation "New Edition". Starr’s Music has sold over 500 Million units world-wide, been awarded 750 gold and platinum plaques, and has generated more than 5 billion dollars in revenue. Soon after being introduced to each other, Starr agreed to a meeting at his recording studio in central Florida, where Bigg Face presented his music, and Mr. Starr would soon be "absolutely blown away". Starr simply replied, "How can I be down", and that’s when the collaboration between Maurice (The General) Starr and Bigg Face began. Once the partnership between the two was certified, Starr’s proceeding reply to the adjoining of himself and his newest discovery was, "The rest shall be history". During a Face2Face/FYE promotional tour throughout the southeast region of the U.S.A, both smash singles "Get My Weight Up" and "Back Down" reached the number 1 position on the Hip Hop/R&B Singles Sales Chart. Selling just under 20,000 copies as an independant artist with two number 1 singles, Bigg Face has made history in the hip hop industry. After months in the studio, and the constant demand from fans, Face is on the verge of releasing his first full studio album entitled "Heavyweight of Hip Hop."
