Icelandic project Bestla is the Bitch creates a charismatic singer and pianist Karin Úlfursdóttir. The band's music uniquely combines avant-garde metal, operatic melodies, the elements of folk and piano. Bestla is the Bitch presents very complex music and sometimes difficult for the inexperienced listener. An debut EP A Ballad of Love and Death EP was released in 2012 wich contained four instrumental compositions. The next album Until My Last Breath didn't attract too much attention. A third album, Victim of Ritual will make its debut in autumn 2013. Album is full of lyrical, melodic compositions. Bestla is the Bitch - as she claims - it will radiate the sensuality and hypnotizing voice. Trying to achieve a psychedelic sound, combining delicate metal and moodiness Scandinavian folk, joined forces with the Polish-Icelandic music producer witch house - ‹‹ʘ››.
