Bee Queen (Beequeen) are Frans de Waard (Freiband, Kapotte Muziek, Goem, Zèbra, Shifts, Post Destruction Music and others) and Freek Kinkelaar (Brunnen, The Beautiful Glassbottom Boat). Since 1988 they have been making music together. Over the years they have released an impressive amount of tapes, records and CD’s. Defining their sound may be difficult, but recent albums like Ownliness and The Bodyshop have seen a fruitful merging of experiment and dream popmusic.
