Baaroot (باروت ) is a persian music band ,it's classified as “Folk , Electronic, Post-Industrial & Neofolk Music" genre. The music in the first album "From Void To Void" is a nondescript combination of traditional Iranian musical devices, Persian lyrics, and pure elements of electronic music. The album offers a fresh, unique characterization of Khayyam quatrains. The poetry in the album focuses on major questions that involve fundamental notions of “to be”, “not to be”, “how to live”, “death”, etc. These are the concepts that have always captured the imagination of mankind, posing a challenge to him in different periods. Similar to his ancestors, modern man is looking for meaning everywhere. In other words, the album is, indeed, a rambling around the world of meanings. An attempt has been made in this album to illustrate the unending rotation of life. All compositions in the album, from the first to the last piece, serve to symbolize a life that begins, goes through a gradual evolution, and finally comes to an end.
