About Austin Carlile

Austin Carlile is an American musician born September 27, 1987 in Pensacola, Florida, USA. He was previously the lead vocalist of Attack Attack! and is currently the lead vocalist of Of Mice & Men. Austin Carlile joined Attack Attack! in 2007. He was featured on their debut EP If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords? and debut album, Someday Came Suddenly, before being fired from the band while on tour in November of 2008. On the same day that he announced his departure from the band, he also announced his new project, Of Mice & Men. The band recruited ex-members of other bands such as A Static Lullaby, Covette, and Lower Definition, and their self-titled debut album was released March 9, 2010 via Rise Records. He left Of Mice & Men for health reasons but rejoined the band on January 3, 2011, when he was invited back. They have since released their second album, The Flood.
