About Anison
Anison have been playing together with their current line up since 2004. The band hail from Kingston Upon Thames in South West London. Anison have supported the likes of Zane Lowe and Eddy Temple Morris on The Ibiza Rocks tour, along with slots with Pull Tiger Tail in London and The Boxer Rebellion at Kingston's infamous New Slang night. In spring 2009 Anison released 'Spatial Awareness/Start as you mean to go The band also played their first tour of the USA in April 2009. In April 2010 Anison released Sail back to Sleep which received playlist on XFM and a video directed by Nicholas Bentley which aired on NME TV. XFM's John Kennedy is a big supporter of the band and the band were lucky enough to be invited to do an XFM session in 2010 to co-incide with the promotional release of the colour red. Anison will release their debut album through American label Spectra Records in 2011.
