Italian technical death metal similar to Cynic and Atheist. The word algophobia means the fear of pain. They formed in Ascoli Piceno, Italy and formed in the year 1994. They were originally known as Nemesis in 1992. Their last known lineup consisted of Luisio Dezi (vocals), Fabio Bottazzo (guitars), Domenico Capriotti (bass) and Giordano Di Marco (drums). They released 2 demos, a compilation that has the 2 demos and a full-length album. They disbanded at an unknown point in time. Lard Records was the last label they were signed to.
