About Al Akhirah
Al Akhirah was the musical result of the musical taste of a group of friends from Dordrecht, The Netherlands sitting around and playing, discussing and in general just enjoying music in the 1990's. At that time, the music scene in Dordrecht was thriving and lots of bands, playing different kinds of music were given generous opportunities to perform in different pubs and stages. After some changes in line-up Al Akhirah more or less transformed into Sentient, with different a guitar and bass players. The guitarist and drummer then went on to form Footfalls, a band with its roots in metal but with very diverse influences.
