About Absence of Light (Buffalo, NY)
Absence of Light was formed in Buffalo, New York in early 2010 by guitarists Devon Kelly and Nick Iacuzzo. Soon after, drummer, Nick Dejoy, joined the band. After a long, hard search for a bassist, Steve Whyte was found and agreed to join, making Absence of Light the band that it is today. We first came out into the Buffalo music scene on May 28th and have been playing shows ever since. We are about the music and music alone. We couldn't do any of what we have accomplished if it wasn't for dedication, friendship, and most of all, our growing number of supporting fans.
