Sef is a Dutch rapper. Abel van Gijlswijk is a Dutch punk musician, best known as front man of Dutch-language punk upstarts, Hang Youth. Together, as Abel & Sef, they released a politically charged hiphop album in June 2024, entitled IJsland ('Iceland'), on Burning Fik Records. Initially, the album was credited to Abel & Sef in most reviews. However, as time went by, IJsland became more of a band name, especially when, in early 2026, the second IJsland installment was announced: IJsland 2.
