Alex Rivera (born August 11, 2008), better known by his stage name 808alex, is a rapper/singer-songwriter from Surprise, Arizona. Alex started his musical career by recording on BandLab at 12 years old. He began to more heavily pursue music during his teenage years, while in middle school. He originally went by the stage name ilyNIECHH, releasing a slew of songs within the span of 2021 and 2022. 808’s first all-platform released EP “BAMBOOS” was published on September 1, 2023, despite getting deleted on all platforms. He followed up by releasing his debut mixtape “ANGELIC 808’S” on November 10, 2023. Soon after, he began amassing a local fanbase, On May 31, 2024, Alex would end up releasing his third mixtape, self titled. That took heavy inspiration from artist like Playboi Carti and SoFaygo, after the success of his mixtape he would later that year drop songs like “Leave” featuring SSGKobe Entering into 2025, On January 10, 2025, Alex dropped PSYCHEDELICS marking his first release of the year, 3 Months after he followed up with Makaveli with features from frequent collaborator Babyslxsh, Elaias, and SSGKobe. After keeping quiet on dropping music for some time, he would drop a collective of singles “Let It Drop 2”, “LIBERTY LOVE (With Babyslxsh)”, and “AURA”. He would drop his ep “BDAY GRAILS” on his birthday on August 11, 2025. He would relate few other singles after that including “CHEETAH PRINT” and “SWAGGA” for his rollout for his 2026 release “CAN’T DOUBLE ME”
